It was my second times staying at HIE in york, every thing was good as always, breakfast should have eggs though, as Not everyone can eat sausages and bacon.

We stayed happily for two days. There is a traditional British barbecue restaurant Toby next door. The family enjoyed a Christmas dinner. On the second night, I unexpectedly found that there was no drain in the toilet. It was almost flooded! After washing up at night, there were inevitably hair stains on the floor. I was too diligent and took the shower head to flush the floor. At this time, I found that there was no drain. In the end, I had to use a towel to absorb the water and squeeze it into the toilet. Travelers should take this as a warning. Don’t flush the floor yourself if it is dirty.

Very recommended hotel for family traveler. A bit far from the city, but convenient if you’re using private car. Breakfast was good. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Feels like home. Definitely will stay here again if we’re coming to York.
